Our Story
Our Story – From Brazil with Love, Crafted with Purpose
At Bossa Brazil Shop, we believe jewellery is more than adornment—a voice, a story, a revolution. Our story begins not in a boardroom but on the beaches, in the favelas, and inside the homes of resilient women across Brazil. These are women who, despite facing social and economic hardship, carry within them the power to transform their futures, their communities, and even their waste—into something beautiful.
Founded in London with strong Brazilian roots, Bossa Brazil Shop was born from the desire to bridge two worlds: Brazil's creative richness and the global demand for ethical fashion. We saw a gap—and more importantly, an opportunity—to change how fashion operates by empowering the hands that create it.
We work directly with female artisans, collectives and cooperatives from low-income communities in Brazil. Many are single mothers, community leaders, survivors of domestic abuse or racial inequality – all of them visionaries in their own right. Through training, collaboration, and fair wages, these artisans don’t just make jewellery – they reclaim their power.
Each piece tells a real story:
-
A coconut shell discarded on the beach becomes a delicate earring.
-
An aluminium can transforms into a statement necklace.
-
What was once seen as waste is reborn as wearable art.
But our commitment goes beyond materials. We are deeply invested in circularity—rethinking how products are made, consumed, and valued. By upcycling materials, we reduce environmental impact while also giving new meaning to forgotten objects.
Bossa Brazil Shop exists to showcase this talent, honour these stories, and ensure your purchase contributes to something greater. You're not just wearing jewellery when you wear a piece from Bossa. You’re carrying a story of transformation, dignity, and shared humanity.
From Brazil to the world, one artisan at a time.
